Our M1908 field cap (Feldkappe) is inspired by the authentic headgear worn by Austro-Hungarian soldiers at the dawn of the First World War. This iconic design reflects the transition from parade uniformity to practical field equipment, combining simplicity with unmistakable historical character.

Original cap insignia featured the emperor’s monogram: “FJI” for Franz Joseph I (pre-1916) and later “K” for Karl I. Due to wartime conditions, both variants can appear on late-war examples.
