General provisions
These general terms and conditions govern the rights and obligations of Kopf Solutions, s. r. o., with registered office at Hlaváčiková 14, 841 05 Bratislava, ID number: 52 899 136, VAT number: 2121244730, EU VAT number: SK2023008911, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court Bratislava I, section: Sro, entry number: 144848/B (hereinafter " Verlag Kopf") and our customers, which result from the contractual relationship based on the concluded purchase contract. basic terms: The seller is the company Kopf Solutions, s. r. o., which operates an online store. Its subject is the sale of goods through an online store and it is located on the website www.verlagkopf.com. The buyer is the customer who enters into a contractual relationship with the seller based on the purchase contract.

If you decide to register (create a password for your account) and you are over 16 years old, you will gain:

- Information about the status of processing your orders
- Overview of all previously purchased goods
- Participation in competitions organized by the store
- Regular updates on news and promotions
- Access to personalized services.
Ordering goods and concluding a contract
To order a product, click on the shopping cart icon with the corresponding label using your mouse, and the product will be added to your shopping cart. Then, you can decide whether you want to finalize the purchase (by filling out the prepared form) or continue shopping. The order is placed by confirming the function labeled "Submit order" with the information that the order requires payment for the goods. Without undue delay after processing your order, we will send you a confirmation email to the email address provided, confirming the acceptance of the order (order acceptance). This email will contain the order number, information about the price of the goods and delivery costs (postage), payment method, estimated delivery time, delivery address, seller information, and any other relevant details. By receiving the confirming email about the acceptance of your order, the purchase contract is concluded. If you have created an account with us, your order will also be archived in the "My Profile" section, accessible only to you after logging in. Additional information regarding the order may be sent to the buyer's email address if necessary.
In the event of unavailability of the product, Verlag Kopf reserves the right to cancel the order, and the customer will be promptly informed about it.

Prices
The binding prices with VAT are given for EU customers after filling in the delivery data, calculated according to the EU One-Stop-Shop directive. Otherwise, all prices of goods and services are stated as final prices, excluding VAT, as Kopf Solutions, s.r.o. is not a VAT payer, but do not include the price of delivery. Any additional discounts provided beyond the discounts listed for individual products on our website, individual discounts for the customer, or discounts provided based on cooperation between our online store and third parties, are not combinable unless stated otherwise. The buyer acknowledges that in the event that the buyer orders goods at a price published due to an error in Verlag Kopf's internal information system, Verlag Kopf is entitled to withdraw from the purchase contract, even after the buyer has received an email confirming their order. Verlag Kopf will inform the buyer of such a fact in such a case.
Verlag Kopf reserves the right to declare the purchase contract void if there has been misuse of personal data, misuse of a payment card, and similar situations, or due to intervention by an administrative or judicial authority. The buyer will be informed of such action.

Delivery times
The delivery time is one week, which represents the number of working days from the conclusion of the purchase contract until the title is typically dispatched (handed over to the carrier/delivery agent). The delivery time is indicative, and in determining it, we rely on our past experience as well as the current availability from suppliers. Its length usually ranges from 24 hours to 7 working days.
In the case of custom-made goods, this period may be extended to 14-30 days, and we will inform you as soon as we have more information on the availability of the item.
As the seller, we are obligated to fulfill your order and deliver the goods to you within a maximum period of 30 days from the receipt of the order. If the ordered goods or part of the goods cannot be delivered within the above-mentioned period, we will inform you of this situation as soon as possible and provide you with the estimated delivery date or suggest delivery of alternative goods. If we fail to secure the goods even within the additional time frame, you have the right to withdraw from the contract, and if the purchase price or part of it has been paid, the funds will be refunded to your designated bank account within 14 days.

We will notify the customer of this situation as soon as possible and provide them with the estimated delivery date or suggest the delivery of alternative goods. For goods that have not yet been manufactured (pre-orders), all indicated deadlines are only approximate and non-binding - we will send you the ordered goods as soon as they are delivered to our warehouse.

The obligation to deliver the goods is fulfilled by handing over the goods to the customer or the authorized person specified in the order. We send the goods via Slovak Post in the form of a letter/parcel or cash on delivery, or by courier for a small additional fee. The delivery time depends on the situation in the country of delivery.
We will inform you by email along with the tracking number of the shipment once your order has been handed over to the carrier or is ready for personal pickup. If your order has not been delivered within 14 days after our email notification, please contact your local postal service and us. We will provide you with further information about your parcel and possible reasons for non-delivery via email after verification. If you have a user account with us, you can check the current status of your order at any time in the My Profile section.

The obligation to deliver the goods is considered fulfilled even if the customer does not collect the goods at the agreed time and place or refuses to accept the goods. Re-delivery of the shipment is possible only by mutual agreement.
We are not responsible for delayed delivery of goods caused by incorrectly provided recipient addresses. The customer acquires ownership of the goods upon receipt at the place of delivery. Upon receipt of the shipment, the customer is entitled to inspect the shipment for any damage to the package (mechanical damage caused during transport) and to ensure that the goods are free from defects. In the case of visible damage to the shipment or goods, the customer is entitled to refuse acceptance of the shipment.

E-shop Verlag Kopf offers two primary methods of payment:
- Payment by Card (VISA, MasterCard): Customers can make payments using their VISA or MasterCard debit or credit cards.
- Bank Transfer Based on an Invoice: Customers can choose to pay via bank transfer after receiving an invoice.
Postage and other charges
To the stated prices of goods, we add postage according to the rates of delivery companies, depending on the method and address of delivery.
We do not charge other fees or packaging. If one order is divided into several shipments based on your wish, you may be charged for postage for each shipment separately.

Warranty
All goods sold are provided with a statutory warranty period of 24 months for new goods and 12 months for used goods or goods from the clearance sale, which begins on the day the goods are received by the customer unless stated otherwise. For food items, the expiration date (minimum durability date) is indicated on the packaging, with a minimum shelf life of 2 months for delivered goods. In case of a shorter shelf life, we will contact the customer by email or phone and dispatch the goods only after their consent.

- Maintaining the price that was valid at the time of sending the order to the customer, if the order is accepted.
- Sending goods without defects (except for used goods or clearance items).
- Delivering the goods in the quantity and quality as ordered, provided that the order is accepted.
- Including a tax document (invoice), unless otherwise requested by the customer.
- Delayed delivery of goods caused by incorrectly provided recipient address.
- The content of books, DVDs, and similar products officially issued by the publisher.

If you wish to cancel your order that has not yet been processed, please contact us as soon as possible (using the contact details on the contacts page) and provide your order number. If your order has already been paid for, we will refund the money to your account within 14 days at the latest. In the case of payment by card (VISA, MasterCard), this period may be extended, depending on the bank's procedure for refunding card payments.
We also reserve the right to cancel your order for goods if we are unable to deliver them due to unavailability (stock depletion or withdrawal from the offer) or if, despite all efforts, we are unable to deliver the goods within the agreed timeframe or price, and/or securing the goods would cause us unreasonable difficulties and expenses disproportionate to the value of the ordered goods unless we agree on alternative performance with you. We will inform you of the cancellation of the order promptly by phone or email. If you have already paid the purchase price or part thereof, the funds will be refunded to your account within 14 days, unless we agree otherwise.

Alternative dispute resolution
If you are not satisfied with the processing of your order, the delivered goods, or our services, please contact us at master@kopfsolutions.com. If we have not resolved your complaint to your satisfaction, or if you believe that we may have violated your rights, you can, according to Act No. 391/2015 Coll., submit a proposal for alternative dispute resolution.
Alternative dispute resolution can only be used by consumers (natural persons) who, when entering into and fulfilling a consumer contract, do not act within the scope of their business, employment, or profession. Alternative dispute resolution applies only to disputes between the consumer and the seller, the value of which exceeds 20 euros, arising from a consumer contract concluded at a distance.
The subject of alternative dispute resolution according to §3 of Act No. 391/2015 Coll. may request a fee of up to 5 euros including VAT from you to initiate dispute resolution. You can submit a proposal in the manner specified in §12 of Act No. 391/2015 Coll.

c) Percentage discount applied after entering a discount coupon
d) Fixed discount in Euros applied from a gift coupon
e) Discount in Euros from credits accumulated in the system

Terms of Use for Discount Coupons:
- Verlag Kopf publishes discount coupons as text codes on occasions such as promotions, contests, or joining the affiliate program.
- The discount coupon can be used for purchasing items on the Verlag Kopf online store (http://www.verlagkopf.com) until the date specified at the time of the code's publication.
- The coupon code must be entered when creating an order in the shopping cart section under "COUPON CODE."
- The value of the coupon is specified as a percentage discount off the purchase price.
- Discount and gift coupons function as a discount off the total amount of the ordered items.
- The minimum order amount for using coupons is specified on the voucher as a purchase value from xx € (unless stated otherwise; postage is not included in this amount).
- Unless stated otherwise, gift coupons can only be used for purchasing items and do not apply to postage and other fees.
- Only one discount coupon can be used per order.
- Gift coupons cannot be exchanged for cash.
- In case of returning items paid for with a gift coupon, the amount for these items will be refunded through a new coupon equal to the value of the returned items.
Newsletter and e-mails from us
During registration or when placing an order, you have the option to choose whether you want to receive regular updates about news in the book market (on average once a week) from us. You can also choose to receive newsletters individually on the website by entering your email address or by clicking on the link provided within the email we have sent you. Of course, you can unsubscribe from receiving newsletters at any time. We will also inform you via email about the processing of your order, availability and unavailability of titles, and we will send you discount vouchers when you are entitled to a discount according to these terms and conditions. We may occasionally (a maximum of several times a year) send important information related to the operation of our online store and the use of user accounts to all registered customers. Final provisions
These general terms and conditions are an integral part of the purchase contract concluded between Kopf Solutions, s.r.o. and its customer, and are binding on both parties. Legal relationships established by the purchase contract shall be governed by the provisions of the purchase contract (i.e., the binding order and confirmation of the order, or individually agreed conditions), the provisions of these general terms and conditions, and relevant legal regulations. The provisions of the purchase contract shall prevail over the provisions of these general terms and conditions and the dispositive provisions of generally binding legal regulations.
Kopf Solutions, s.r.o. reserves the right to unilaterally amend or supplement these general terms and conditions. Any changes to these general terms and conditions shall take effect on the date of their publication on the website www.verlagkopf.com. Legal relationships arising from the purchase contract shall always be governed by the general terms and conditions effective at the time of the binding order of the goods.
